Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair Mercedes-Benz Heavy Duty/Sprinter Vans in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines and dealership standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups, to ensure the optimal performance of the vehicles. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Collaborate with the service advisors and other team members to provide accurate estimates and communicate repair timelines to customers. Keep up-to-date with the latest technical advancements and training to maintain an excellent understanding of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and their intricate systems. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of automotive technical school or relevant certifications preferred. Diesel and/or heavy line vehicle experience is a plus! Proven experience as an automotive technician, with specific expertise in Mercedes-Benz, BMW, German, and/or Luxury Line vehicles being a significant advantage. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical automotive systems. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a methodical approach to troubleshooting. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
