Litchfield Park, AZ Job Details Full-time $40 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Fabrication Vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Diesel mechanics Forklift Hand tools Diesel engine repair Full Job Description We are currently hiring an experienced Commercial Vehicle Mechanic/ Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining semi trucks and trailers to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and road-ready. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires working with various tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair systems to keep equipment operating at peak performance. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on semi trucks and trailers Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Repair or replace truck and trailer components as needed Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment when required Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting Complete equipment repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality Communicate with customers or management regarding repair status and recommended maintenance Safely operate shop equipment such as forklifts when necessary Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Requirements Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, truck mechanic, or trailer mechanic (Required) Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills Experience with welding, fabrication, and basic electrical repairs preferred Ability to lift heavy parts and perform physically demanding work Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working on semi trucks and commercial trailers (Required) Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs Familiarity with heavy-duty truck systems and components If you are a motivated mechanic who enjoys working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers, we encourage you to apply and join our team.
