Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems with precision. Execute vehicle alignments, wheel balancing, and steering repairs to ensure optimal performance. Repair or replace components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools. Diagnose and service advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety features. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Experience Proven dealership experience or equivalent automotive service technician background is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wheel alignment procedures, and ADAS technology is desirable. Demonstrated ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools effectively. Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience to ensure customer satisfaction and transparency.
