Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers by performing mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, and electrical components, in a fast-paced environment that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs with precision. Diagnose complex problems related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body damage, or auto estimating as needed. Follow dealership or industry standards for auto repair procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Dealership experience or familiarity with GM vehicles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, diesel engine repair, transmission repair, and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service technology. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid technician certification or relevant ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
