About Wondries Toyota Wondries Toyota is a trusted, high-volume dealership serving the San Gabriel Valley for over 60 years. Our commitment to quality, customer service, and community has made us one of the region's most respected Toyota dealerships. We are growing our used-car reconditioning team and are looking for a skilled Used Car Technician to help us deliver top-quality vehicles to our customers. Position Overview The Used Car Technician plays a key role in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles—including Certified Toyota vehicles—to meet Wondries Toyota's strict safety, quality, and certification standards. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough multipoint inspections on all incoming used vehicles Inspect, diagnose, and repair Toyota Certified Used Vehicles (TCUV) to meet certification guidelines Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and emission-related issues Complete required reconditioning repairs including brakes, suspension, driveline, HVAC, electrical, and general mechanical work Perform oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and general maintenance Document findings clearly and accurately on repair orders Work closely with the Used Car Manager, Service Advisors, and reconditioning team to manage workflow Ensure all repairs meet Toyota and Wondries Toyota quality standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience (used car or general line preferred) Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Valid California driver's license and clean driving record California Smog Check License preferred ASE certifications a plus Familiarity with dealership repair order processes preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid vacation and holidays
