Golf Course Mechanic Skylinks at Buchanan Fields Golf Course Concord, CA Job Details Part-time $30 - $40 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Fabrication Equipment repair Grinding Cleaning Electrical maintenance Full Job Description About Skylinks Skylinks at Buchanan Fields is one of the busiest golf operations in the East Bay — a 9-hole course, 72-bay driving range, and full community hub in Concord that's growing fast. Our equipment works hard every single day, and we need a mechanic who keeps it running like it matters. Because it does. The Role This isn't a "wait for a work order" job. We're looking for a hands-on equipment mechanic who walks in, takes ownership of the shop, and runs the maintenance program like it's theirs — because it will be. You'll own the health of our entire fleet: mowers, carts, utility vehicles, and everything in between. You'll work alongside our Course Crew to make sure equipment is dialed, downtime is minimal, and nothing surprises us during peak season. What You'll Work On Toro equipment — rough mowers, reel and rotary mowers, and the full Toro turf equipment lineup (diagnostics, preventive maintenance, repairs, reel grinding/adjustment a big plus) John Deere Gators — utility vehicle maintenance and repair Club Car electric vehicles — golf cart fleet upkeep, battery systems, chargers, controllers Tractors & implements — general service and repair Small engines — weed whackers, blowers, pumps, and other grounds equipment Preventive maintenance scheduling, parts ordering, and shop organization Hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, welding/fabrication as needed Who We're Looking For Golf course or turf equipment experience required — you know the difference between a fairway unit and a rough mower, and you've kept a fleet alive during a busy season Proactive operator — you spot the problem before it becomes downtime; you build the PM schedule instead of waiting to be handed one Strong diagnostic skills across gas, diesel, and electric equipment Experience with Toro and/or John Deere turf equipment strongly preferred Club Car / EZ-GO electric vehicle experience a plus Able to work independently, keep a clean and organized shop, and communicate clearly with the grounds team Why This Job Own the space. The shop is yours. We hire good people and get out of their way. Flexible part-time schedule — 20-25 hours/week, days flexible, mornings preferred. Ability to go FT if right fit. Top-of-market pay for the right experience. Growing operation — Skylinks is expanding, and the people who help us build it grow with us. Golf privileges and range access. Schedule Miniumum of 20-25 hours per week Flexible days — we'll build the schedule around the right candidate Mornings preferred (equipment ready before play) How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume. Tell us in a few sentences about the fleet you've maintained and the equipment you know best — that note gets read first.
