As an Automotive Service Director at a dealership, you will oversee the daily operations of our service operations, ensuring that we grow our business and provide top-notch service to our customers. This role is vital in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability in automotive care. Responsibilities Manage the service department operations, including advertising, marketing, scheduling and workflow. Supervise and train service staff to ensure high-quality customer service. Develop and implement effective service writing practices to enhance communication with customers. Monitor repair orders for accuracy and completeness before finalizing services. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to services provided. Analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Service Director/Manager or similar role in the new vehicle franchise automotive industry for a minimum of 6 years. Strong leadership skills and professionalism required. General mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working for luxury dealerships required Experience with CDK software required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams required.
