About thisRole:
Mechanics will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on large construction equipment and small vehicles. We're looking for a well-trained and highly organized, self-motivated HDR mechanic who takes pride in their work and can perform multiple tasks as required throughout the day.- Tasks may vary depending on level of mechanic experience (Lead, Mechanic, and Mechanic Apprentice).
What You'll Do:
Diagnose vehicles and equipment based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the operator/driver Operates and maintains one or more of the following lists of equipment and/ or machines: tandem dump truck, off road truck, dozer, large front-end loader, backhoe, motor grader, excavator, skid steer, mini ex, water truck, and various other equipment in excavating, filling, and compacting in development activities Inspect and restore equipment fluid levels including oil, fuel, water, and transmission fluid: verify operational gauges and tires; lubricate equipment as needed and adjust as necessary Clean assigned equipment and related parts Maintain equipment records according to company policy Perform regular maintenance as described by maintenance manuals Ability to inspect a vehicle and effectively create a list of needed parts Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether any other problems exist. File appropriate documentation on all repairs made Other related duties and projects as assignedWhat You'll Bring:
Relevant experience. At least 3- 5+ years' experience required Must supply own tools RSO Training preferred Class A driver is preferred Interpersonal skills, Communication skills, Time Management and project management skills Must maintain a valid US Driver's License with clean driving record, Commercial license preferred not required Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Get:
Pay- $ 45.00
