Job Description:
Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with an advanced energy technology organization, is seeking a skilled Dynamometer Technician . This role is responsible for installing and supporting test articles on dyno and component test systems, executing test procedures, and troubleshooting hardware and system issues within a fast-paced engineering lab environment. The position works closely with both engineering and operations teams to support ongoing product validation and development activities. Job Duties Install and uninstall test articles on dyno test benches and component-level test systems Execute test procedures and collect test data according to engineering instructions Perform troubleshooting activities on electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic systems Support setup, configuration, and operation of lab test equipment Assist engineers and operations personnel with test readiness and issue resolution Maintain safe work practices while operating in high-voltage test environments Document test activities, findings, and equipment issues as required Provide occasional overtime or weekend support based on testing schedules Skills & Experience Required Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, IT, or mechatronic systems Experience supporting or operating laboratory or production test systems Ability to read and follow technical test procedures and work instructions Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment Comfortable working in high-voltage environments Experience using hand tools, test equipment, and diagnostic tools High school diploma or equivalent technical training Desired Dyno test system experience Experience supporting battery, power electronics, or drive unit testing environments Prior experience working in engineering lab or R D test operations settings Exposure to electro-mechanical assembly and integration activities Associate degree or technical certification in a related field Experience supporting cross-functional engineering and technician teams Blue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
