The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Duties Perform auto body repairs on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for tasks such as MIG welding, soldering, and assembly. Conduct vehicle maintenance checks and repairs, including auto glass replacement and detailing. Execute sheet metal work and fabrication as needed for restoration projects. Collaborate with team members to assess damage and create accurate auto estimates for repair costs. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication techniques, and mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying, and detailing practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and restorations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in auto painting is a plus; knowledge of auto restoration techniques is highly desirable.
