- Full-time About Lang Racing Development Lang Racing Development is a respected European performance and service shop in Lake Forest, California.
Handle general maintenance and service:
oil changes, brake service, alignments, spark plugs, radiator hoses, A/C servicing, and pre-purchase inspections. Complete high-performance builds and projects on German/European platforms. Perform dyno performance tuning and auto tuning. Carry out SMG conversions. Service major components, including head gaskets and related repairs. Perform digital vehicle inspections and document findings clearly and accurately. Install and calibrate performance components — suspension, chassis, driveline, and related parts. Remove, reinstall, and prep major components as needed, including engines and transmissions. Collaborate with the service and fabrication teams to hit timelines and quality targets. Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe. What You Must Have (Required) Minimum 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience — required. Applicants with less will not be considered. Prior hands-on experience with BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and other German/European models — required. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read wiring diagrams. Proficiency with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software. Solid understanding of drivetrains, electrical systems, and performance upgrades. Experience with factory-level repairs and precision performance modifications. A complete set of professional tools. Strong communication skills and a professional, team-first attitude. Preferred (A Plus) Advanced BMW and Porsche experience (M-series a plus). Background in a European performance shop. Familiarity with coding, programming, and advanced diagnostics. Suspension tuning, alignment, and corner-balancing knowledge. Schedule On-site at our Lake Forest, CA shop. Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM- 4:00 PM.
Pay:
$28.00- $35.
