This includes performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and completing all repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and company policies. You would report directly to the Service Manager.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent,required Minimum 1 year of Automotive diagnostics working experience Minimum 1 year of Diagnosis, Suspension, Brake Repair, and Manual Transmission work Automotive dealership service department experienced (preferred) Previous dealership or equivalent working experience (Preferred) Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment Team oriented,flexibleand focused onmaintaininga high levelof customer service ValidCAdriver's license Essential Duties, but not limited to: Performing work specified on repair orderin accordance withdealership and certification policies. Communicating with service advisors to inform customers of possibleadditionalwork needed. Performing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications and required certifications. Clarifies description of problems with service advisor; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records. Completes thorough inspection of all vehicles for safety concerns,repairand maintenance needs. Develops estimates using multi-point inspection systems. Completes repairs by describing problems and causes discovered, as well as repairs and servicesrequiredor recommended; enters repair documentation into the repair order service database system. Maintains current manufacturer training(s) credentials. Maintains a current CA driver's license. Updates job knowledge byparticipatingin educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications and other customer service or sales related periodicals. Enhancesorganization'sreputation by accepting ownership foraccomplishingnew and different requests.
