Automotive Technician (mechanic)

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with integrity and precision. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently, providing them with confidence and peace of mind. What you will do:

Repair and service engines, transmissions, powertrains, brakes, suspension, mount and balance tires, and other related components. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized repair tools safely and effectively. Perform alignments and suspension work to ensure proper handling and vehicle safety. Service and diagnose automotive electrical systems Perform diagnostics on vehicle systems using electrical testing equipment, schematics, and OEM procedures. Read and interpret OEM guides, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins to accurately troubleshoot issues. Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly and professionally to team members. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and uphold a clean, organized, and professional workspace. Able to lift and carry items over 50 pounds and perform physical tasks required for automotive repair. Able to stand, bend, reach, and work for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt to changing needs.

Basic Qualifications:

3-5 years of proven experience or similar automotive service technician background is required. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting strongly preferred. Familiarity with OBD-II systems and components, alignment procedures, powertrain repairs, transmissions, and diesel engine repair is desirable. Demonstrated ability to use automotive service equipment including hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Experience in vehicle maintenance across various models and an understanding of automotive repair best practices.
