Manager, Full Service Car Wash and Detail Center

Full job description Avery Car Wash (full-service) is looking for an experienced full-time Car Wash Manager to join our team. The car wash operating hours are 8am to 5pm (7 days a week). The Car Wash Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations from site upkeep to guest service, as well as training a positive team. An outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for guest caring is a key component of this role. The Car Wash Manager is responsible for ensuring a positive/safe experience for guests as well as providing a safe/positive working environment for employees. This position requires adhering to all guidelines, including company policies and all local, state, and federal compliances. Duties include, but not limited to: Manage car wash team and improve/maintain a clean, efficient site. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming. Scheduling of car wash team by following company policy. Provide excellent guest experience by training the team on all internal and external programs and building guest loyalty. Provide daily direction to the team and ensure safety and other compliance procedures are being adhered to. Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems, as necessary. Train on-site open/close process and ensure the site is fully operational during business hours. Accountable for providing strong, positive, and proactive leadership to the team while providing direction, feedback, and holding them accountable for performance and results. Give corrective actions when needed following company policy/guidelines. Train the team on a high level of product knowledge, package details, and upgrades. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols for the team and guests. Perform monthly OSHA training. Perform weekly inventory on consumables. Train the team and perform monthly product (chemical) inventory as well as ordering consumables. Perform and train on after-hours site cleaning by following the schedule (Cleaning site includes but not limited to tunnel equipment, tunnel floor, tunnel walls, tunnel pit, vacuum area, walkways, queuing area, etc.) Responsible for compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

Job Qualifications Experience:

MUST HAVE

Car Wash Management experience. Minimum 2 years of car wash management experience

REQUIRED.

Fully bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred. Positive and friendly attitude. Possess and demonstrate effective organizational, communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. Team player, self-motivated and responsible. Punctual with a reliable source of transportation. Demonstrate effective decision-making and problem resolution skills. Background heck will be conducted

Knowledge:

Must always maintain the highest level of guest service. Ability to adapt to the ever-changing car wash while working in a team environment. Have the capacity to take initiative when problems arise. Flexibility to adapt to a variety of situations. Have attention to detail with the capability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates. Ability and willingness to work at other locations as needed. Demonstrates ability to improve staff performance through motivation, training and setting clear expectations.

Leadership Skills:

Written/verbal communication and documentation skills. Ability to multitask and have organizational skills. Must be able to lead, support and contribute to team goals.

Physical Demands:

Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Flexible hours, night and day, weekends, and holidays. Ability to operate all related equipment.
