Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their automotive service needs. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document customer concerns. Provide detailed explanations of services recommended and costs involved. Manage service writing tasks, including creating work orders and processing payments. Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and services performed. Handle cash transactions securely and efficiently. Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques, including diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and automotive diagnostics. Assist in aligning customer expectations with service capabilities while promoting additional services when appropriate. Qualifications Previous experience in auto service management or as an automotive technician is preferred. Strong understanding of automotive repairs, including auto body repair and mechanic skills. Proficient in cash handling and service writing processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to transmit information clearly to customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of diesel engine repair and air brake systems is a plus.
