[Modesto, California] Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid services. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using diagnostic equipment and repair manuals. Repair and replace vehicle components such as brakes, suspension systems, steering components, engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems. Conduct vehicle inspections and identify recommended repairs. Test-drive vehicles to verify concerns and confirm repairs. Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding vehicle conditions and repair recommendations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous automotive repair experience preferred. ASE certifications are preferred but not required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
