In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring top-quality service for our customers. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will contribute to the efficient operation of our service department, delivering exceptional automotive care every day. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about automotive excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Execute routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and replace critical systems such as air brakes, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic or mechanical components. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and auto estimating software to determine repair procedures and costs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards and protocols. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Solid knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics, Diesel engine repair, and Auto body repair techniques. Hands-on experience with wheel alignments, suspension work, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Strong mechanical knowledge across vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes and transmission repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimates. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems along with experience in auto estimating software is advantageous.
