STG Auto Group is currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician / Mechanic to become an integral part of our team. This role is responsible for accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles with integrity and professionalism, while maintaining positive relationships with clients and ensuring high-quality service standards. Key Responsibilities Examine vehicles, diagnose issues, and determine the nature and extent of necessary repairs Communicate findings and additional service needs to the Service Advisor Provide accurate labor time estimates Monitor repair progress and update the Service Advisor on status Maintain strict adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation Complete detailed repair orders, notes, and documentation Utilize company computer systems for tracking and reporting Follow all safety requirements, including wearing approved safety equipment in designated areas Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Attend required company training sessions Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 3 years of automotive technician experience (required) ASE Certification required Experience diagnosing and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles, preferably at a dealership Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ethical, reliable, and detail-oriented
