Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and service writing will help streamline operations and foster lasting customer relationships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for automobiles with outstanding customer service skills in a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests. Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services, including auto estimating and collision repair options. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, alignment, tire service, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs. Upsell additional services and products that enhance vehicle performance and safety while maintaining transparency and integrity. Write clear service reports and manage all aspects of service writing using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently. Maintain comprehensive records of vehicle repairs, diagnostics, estimates, and customer interactions to ensure smooth workflow and follow-up. Skills Strong automotive diagnostics knowledge combined with mechanical expertise across various systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and alignment. Proven experience managing auto service operations with a focus on upselling and customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers with varying levels of automotive knowledge. Ability to perform auto estimating accurately using computer-aided tools; familiarity with collision repair processes is a plus. Previous dealership or service technician experience is highly desirable; familiarity with automotive repair procedures enhances effectiveness in this role. Valid driving license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive vehicles for inspection or test drives. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple service appointments while delivering exceptional customer service.
