Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Service and maintain vehicles by replacing parts, performing alignments, wheel balancing, and other maintenance tasks. Repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and calibrate sensors to ensure optimal vehicle safety features. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs to manufacturer standards. Document all work performed clearly in service records and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed or completed. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics techniques. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Knowledge of powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engine repair. Skilled in vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, wheel balancing, and general repairs. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service best practices. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices confidently. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent problem-solving skills.
