Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Classic Car Mechanic and bring vintage vehicles back to life with precision, passion, and expertise! In this role, you will specialize in maintaining, repairing, and restoring classic automobiles, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and authenticity. Your mechanical skills will be essential in diagnosing complex issues, performing detailed repairs, and preserving the unique character of classic cars. This is an exciting opportunity for automotive enthusiasts who thrive on craftsmanship and attention to detail. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering to restore optimal vehicle performance. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Repair and restore auto body components through welding and other auto body repair techniques while maintaining the vehicle's original aesthetic. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to disassemble, repair, or replace parts on classic vehicles with precision. Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems including automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) where applicable. Read and interpret automotive schematics for accurate troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues on GM vehicles or similar models. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed. Skills Knowledge of LS swaps and or mustang ll front conversions is a huge huge plus. Welding is a plus. Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience specializing in classic or vintage vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive repair including diesel engine repair, powertrain systems, transmissions, alignment, suspension, tire service, shocks & struts. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and schematics for precise diagnostics and repairs. Hands-on experience with auto body repair techniques such as welding; ability to restore vehicle aesthetics while preserving authenticity. Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment efficiently. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is advantageous. Knowledge of maintenance procedures including oil changes and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship for classic cars!
