We are seeking a skilled and dedicated experienced Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in dealership environments. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes to ensure high-quality service for our customers. A GM Certification is highly preferred.

Duties:

Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to conduct repairs and maintenance tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately. Conduct vehicle alignments and other mechanical adjustments as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timelines. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a dealership setting is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Understanding of vehicle maintenance practices, including alignment procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
