Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive axles, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and wheel alignments to improve handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems effectively. Service and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features such as lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs with precision. Maintain detailed service records, perform auto estimating for repairs, and communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle's needs. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid understanding of automotive diagnostics, schematics, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, vehicle transmission system repair, and vehicle suspension system repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and automotive electrical systems troubleshooting. Ability to operate automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
