401(k) 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Competitive salary Dental insurance Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off Looking for experienced automotive technician, mainly for front end, brakes, shocks, struts, engine repairs, check engine light diagnosis etc.. will also help with tires, oil changes and other maintenance work. Competitive pay dependent on experience. Please email resume or bring to 1150 California street Redding Responsibilities Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job Fabricate and assemble structural and miscellaneous metal products. Keep logs on work and issues Maintain equipment and tools in good condition Skills Proven experience as auto mechanic Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Prior experience fabricating steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel Fabrication (layout, fit-up, welding, grinding) Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift) Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred Will receive paid holidays, paid vacation, benefits and 401k with partial matching Must have valid drivers license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously
