for an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer — All Brands! In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring every vehicle receives top-notch service. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will drive customer satisfaction, boost sales through upselling, and help maintain our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Write detailed repair orders and estimates for all vehicle makes and models, ensuring clarity and transparency Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer concerns and gather diagnostic information Sell needed services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services to maximize customer value Provide accurate auto estimating, including diagnostics for complex issues like diesel engine repairs, air brakes, or automatic transmissions Handle transactions accurately and process payments efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service Maintain comprehensive service records and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business Requirements Dealership experience is a plus or auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including oil changes, brake repair, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, suspension, tire services, diesel engines, and auto body repair Experience working with service technicians on automotive repair processes across all brands is a plus Ability to sell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity or ability to learn basic automotive software solutions Knowledge of various automotive systems such as transmissions, air brakes, alignment, shocks & struts, tire services, and diesel engine repairs is highly desirable Strong attention to detail in documentation and record keeping Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive expertise fuels customer satisfaction! $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
