In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our fleet and machinery operating smoothly, supporting our construction industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery, from trucks to large heavy equipment, utilizing your mechanical skills and technical knowledge to deliver top-notch service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive and heavy equipment using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and electronic testing tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, air brake systems, and electrical components. Fabricate parts or modifications as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair requirements. Service a variety of machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, industrial equipment, and power tools. Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs, or testing procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for precise troubleshooting and repair procedures. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with automotive diagnostics and heavy equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicles and industrial machinery. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; capable of assembly and equipment repair. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing devices. Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting complex systems involving hydraulics, electrical wiring, transmissions, and suspension components. Experience working with OEM parts and understanding manufacturer specifications for repairs. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely during maintenance tasks; comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
