Accomplishing this goal requires the VST to ensure all ambulances/vehicles are clean, stocked and response ready. The VST will be responsible for checking basic mechanical fluids and coordinating and processing vehicle licensing with City, County and State agencies. The VST will coordinate with field supervisors and the Director of Operations to ensure vehicles are clean inside and out with well stocked shelves and functioning equipment. Essential Functions/Duties Vehicle inventory check/control of supplies and equipment. Clean ambulances and other field vehicles inside and outside as needed. Restock ambulance supplies daily. Ensure deep cycling of monitor batteries as required. Check and top off oil and window washer fluid daily. Requisition supplies for replacement. Work with Fleet mechanic to support vehicle maintenance including picking up parts, repositioning vehicles from deployment centers in the Bay Area to the central fleet maintenance center. Inform Supervisor and Fleet Maintenance of breakdowns and cause of equipment failure for repair/reallocate ambulance to crew and keep accurate log. Document condition of ambulances at End of shifts and schedule preparedness for shift personnel. Respond to daily phone and email inquiries from crews to address supply and fleet requests Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Some experience in the industry preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to work under time constraints Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication Strong internal and external customer service skills. Valid state driver's license Working Conditions and Mental/Physical Requirements Available for the occasional night, weekend, and/or holiday. Ability to Lift up to 100 lbs.
