We are a growing repair, performance, welding, and machine-focused shop looking for someone reliable, skilled, and ready to turn hours. This position is for a real mechanic, not an entry-level helper. We are looking for someone who can diagnose vehicles, complete repairs correctly, stay organized, and work professionally without needing constant supervision. Responsibilities Perform general automotive repair and diagnostics on domestic, Asian, and some European vehicles. Handle jobs such as brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, engine repairs, drivetrain work, electrical diagnostics, tune-ups, fluid services, and general mechanical repair. Accurately inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs. Communicate clearly with the service advisor/shop owner about parts, labor, problems found, and job status. Keep work area clean, organized, and safe. Perform quality work that does not come back. Requirements Professional automotive repair experience required. Must have your own basic tools. Must be able to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently. Must be reliable, on time, and able to work full-time. Must care about doing the job right. Must be able to follow shop procedures and document work performed. Valid driver's license required. ASE certifications are a plus, but not required if you have strong real-world experience. Ideal Candidate The ideal person for this position is a serious mechanic who wants steady work, a professional shop environment, and the opportunity to grow with the business. We want someone who can turn hours, solve problems, and be trusted with customer vehicles. We are not looking for someone who needs to be babysat. We are looking for someone who wants to make money, do good work, and become a key part of a growing shop. Pay Pay depends on experience and ability. 30 to 50 dollars per flat rate hour with base hourly guarantee. Flat rate labor times are to be negotiated between the technician and management. We have no intention of underbilling your hours or sticking you with warranty jobs that pay half time that you were not responsible for. Technicians are responsible for their own come backs which pay half the standard flat rate hours. Schedule Full-time or part time position available. How to Apply Please apply with your work history, experience level, tool situation, and the types of repairs you are most confident performing.
