RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform comprehensive inspections on pre-owned vehicles. Complete maintenance services including oil changes, fluid services, filters, and tire rotations. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, and brake system concerns. Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs. Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet dealership standards. Complete reconditioning work within established timeframes. Accurately document inspections, recommendations, and completed repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous automotive technician experience preferred. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures. Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

COMPENSATION

The Reconditioning Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $19.00 and $34.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit. Hourly and Flat Rate compensation based on experience and certifications. We are a drug free environment. As part of our hiring process, we conduct a post-offer background check and drug screening.
