In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help guide clients through the service process, recommend necessary repairs, and ensure a smooth, positive experience. Your mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive diagnostics will empower you to accurately assess customer needs and collaborate effectively with technicians. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine customer service excellence with automotive expertise, ensuring every vehicle leaves our facility in top condition. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair procedures, estimate costs using estimating software, and recommend additional services through upselling techniques Write detailed service orders and communicate repair specifications clearly to technicians Coordinate with mechanics to provide accurate estimates for automotive repairs, including diagnostics, transmissions, brakes, suspension, tire services, oil changes, and collision repairs Manage customer interactions professionally, providing updates on vehicle status and ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high levels of customer trust and integrity Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures Dealership experience or background is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively Knowledge of various automotive systems including air brakes, shocks & struts, alignment, diesel engines, transmissions, suspension components, and tire services Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining integrity Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Join us as an Automotive Service Advisor where your enthusiasm for cars combined with your dedication to excellent customer service will drive success!
