This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in building a long-term career in automotive service. The Lube Technician will perform routine maintenance and inspection services while working alongside experienced Volvo technicians and service professionals. Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes according to Volvo service procedures. Perform tire rotations and tire-pressure checks. Check and top off vehicle fluids. Replace filters, wiper blades, bulbs, batteries, and other basic maintenance items. Perform basic multi-point vehicle inspections. Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and other components for visible concerns. Accurately document work performed on repair orders. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly use shop tools and equipment. Follow all dealership and Volvo safety procedures. Assist experienced technicians with additional service and maintenance tasks. Communicate vehicle concerns to the appropriate service advisor or technician. Maintain professional standards while working on customer vehicles. Qualifications Previous automotive maintenance experience preferred, but entry-level applicants with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and routine maintenance. Ability to safely operate shop equipment and hand tools. Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. Strong attention to detail. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work as part of a professional service team.
