Role:

BNC Autocare in Santa Rosa, CA is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our team! This is your chance to be the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians, keeping our shop running smoothly and our clients coming back. Responsibilities:

Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs Write detailed repair orders and communicate vehicle issues clearly to technicians Provide accurate cost estimates and obtain customer approvals before work begins Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process Follow up with customers on vehicle status, delays, and completed services Upsell recommended maintenance services and additional repairs as needed Coordinate workflow between service advisors, technicians, and parts department Process invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate service records

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in automotive customer service Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance terminology Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume shop environment Experience with shop management software Mitchell1 Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Professional, positive attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction
