Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Execute vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake service, wheel alignments, suspension work, and routine inspections. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by documenting repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Achieve 1st time fix with no rework. Requirements Minimum 3 years experience or extensive automotive service technician background with experience involving vehicle repairs such as alignments, engine diagnostics, transmission repairs, and general maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, and transmissions. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently on a variety of makes and models of vehicles with a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with thorough communication skills to ensure accurate maintenance and repair recommendations. Valid certifications in automotive repair; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
