In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for enhancing vehicle appearance, performance, and functionality through the professional installation of wheels/tires, suspension components, and aftermarket accessories. Your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and passion for automotive customization will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. This hourly position offers opportunities to develop your skills while working with a wide variety of vehicles and performance products. Duties Mount, balance, and install wheels and tires on a wide range of passenger cars, trucks, and SUVs. Perform tire repairs, rotations, inspections, and pressure monitoring system (TPMS) service. Install aftermarket accessories including lift kits, leveling kits, lowering kits, suspension components, running boards, lighting, tonneau covers, bed accessories, and other vehicle upgrades. Safely operate tire mounting machines, wheel balancers, alignment equipment, lifts, and other shop equipment. Inspect vehicles before and after installations to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Utilize manufacturer specifications and installation instructions to complete installations accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures. Communicate effectively with owner and customers regarding recommendations and completed work. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a tire shop, automotive service center, dealership, or aftermarket accessory installation environment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle suspension, steering, and wheel/tire systems. Experience mounting/balancing tires and servicing TPMS systems. Familiarity with installing aftermarket accessories and performance upgrades. Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, lifts, tire machines, and alignment equipment. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy wheels, tires, and automotive components. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
