In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide customers through their service experience, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. The Service Advisor is responsible for accurately diagnosing customer concerns, recommending appropriate services, and coordinating with technicians to deliver top-quality automotive care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for cars with exceptional customer service skills, creating a positive and memorable experience for every client. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed service estimates, including auto estimating, repairs, parts, and labor costs Communicate clearly with customers about recommended services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, alignment, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that enhance vehicle safety and performance while respecting customer budgets Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all service write-ups and repair orders Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business through excellent customer service Experience Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs with the help of one of our technicians. Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing procedures Experience in auto sales or upselling techniques is a plus Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspension, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, and auto body repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Previous experience handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records is desirable Join our team where your automotive expertise meets your passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences!
