Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with dealership experience and a passion for automotive repair to grow their careers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, powertrain work, diesel engine repairs, and system replacements. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Service and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features such as lane departure warnings, collision avoidance systems, and adaptive cruise control. Perform wheel alignments, suspension work, tire rotations, brake repairs, and other routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive tools efficiently to complete repairs accurately. Maintain detailed service records, prepare estimates using auto estimating software, and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Deep understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including ADAS technology and hybird vehicles is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Experience with auto estimating software and familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures is preferred. Pay:
$29.91 - $50.00 per hour
