POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of tire and related service and repairs for off-the-road (OTR) equipment (construction, agricultural, mining, etc.). Provides direct customer service and support.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Dismounts and mounts OTR, commercial, passenger, and light tires to industry standards. Determines repairable tire conditions and makes needed repairs per TIA specifications. Mounts and safely inflates tires to prescribed PSI, per load requirements. Operates OTR Service Boom Truck. Operates heavy duty tire service equipment and tools including; boom cranes, jacks, compressors, electric and hydraulic equipment. Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions with customers to ensure overall satisfaction and retention. Properly completes and submits required billing documents to Store Manager and Assistant Manager. Properly maintains assigned service vehicle including all associated service equipment and tools. Regularly inspects service vehicle, and reports maintenance or safety concerns upon discovery to Store Manager. All service vehicles must be inspected before use and safe to operate. Performs on-call services when assigned. Safely drives and operates company vehicles. Maintains a clean interior and exterior of assigned service vehicle. Ensures compliance with safety requirements as outlined by the company, along with those specified in OSHA and MSHA regulations pertaining to this position. Regularly attends all staff trainings and meetings as required.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience 3+ years OTR industry experience preferred Valid Driver's license, Class A CDL and insurability required at all times Fork Lift Certification required. Training provided upon hire. TIA Certification required within 1 year of date of hire. MSHA Certification NOT required. Commercial Driver's Licensed NOT required. Must be able to understand instructions and recognize hazardous or poisonous materials and/or products. There may be exposure to fumes, dust, and/or odors.BENEFITS
