Job Summary We are seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in automotive repair and diagnostics. As a Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues, performing high-quality repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Duties Diagnose and repair automotive systems including powertrain, electrical systems, and transmissions. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, alignments, and general inspections. Conduct repairs on GM vehicles and diesel engines while adhering to company standards. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimating for repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring the proper use of hand tools and power tools. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Mentor junior technicians and assist in training new staff members. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes. Proficient in reading schematics and utilizing diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Extensive mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques as required for various repairs. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and their components. Strong background in service technician roles with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Knowledge of auto estimating practices to provide accurate repair quotes. Experience working on GM vehicles is preferred; diesel engine repair experience is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
