Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced automotive team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between customers and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. Your energetic approach will help drive customer satisfaction, promote additional services, and support the overall efficiency of our service department. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Assist Service Advisors by providing detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance procedures Support the scheduling of appointments and manage customer flow to optimize shop productivity Promote additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, estimates, and customer interactions using automotive service management software Collaborate with technicians to relay customer concerns and clarify repair procedures or estimates Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage service write-ups with transparency and professionalism Requirements Previous dealership or automotive service management experience preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, suspension work, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignments, and auto body repair Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in mechanic roles or service technician positions is highly advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Strong sales skills with an aptitude for upselling additional services that benefit the customer's vehicle longevity and safety This role is perfect for individuals eager to develop their automotive expertise while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
