Our service drive is full, our hours are on the board, and our current team is turning everything they can get their hands on. What we're missing is another strong diagnostic technician. If you're a tech who's tired of waiting on work — that's not a problem here. ## What We're Actually Looking For Anyone can R&R a water pump. We need someone who can take the tickets that stall out a shop. You're the tech who can pull in a hard drivability concern, an intermittent electrical fault, or a network communication issue and get to a
  • confirmed root cause in a single shift
  • — not three days and four parts.
You know when to stop guessing and put a scope on it. You read the wiring diagram before you pull the harness apart. You can tell the difference between a symptom and a cause, and you document it well enough that the advisor can sell it and the customer trusts it. That skill is the entire reason this job is open, and it's what we'll pay for. ## What You'll Do Diagnose and repair import vehicles across mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns Perform accurate, efficient diagnostics using factory scan tools, lab scopes, and OEM service information Complete repairs right the first time — we protect our CSI and our comeback rate Document findings clearly for advisors and warranty submission Work with the shop foreman on escalated and technical-assistance tickets Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area ## What You Bring
  • Required
  • 3+ years of automotive technician experience (import dealership or independent import specialist strongly preferred) Demonstrated diagnostic ability on electrical and drivability concerns — this is the core of the role Proficiency with factory scan tools, DVOM, and lab scope Ability to read and work from wiring diagrams and OEM service information Own set of tools Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to pass pre-employment screening •Preferred•ASE certifications (A1-A8) and/or ASE Master Factory certification with a major import brand Hybrid/EV certification or high-voltage experience Experience with Pico or comparable scope diagnostics ## What We Offer •$35 to $45 flat-rate hour•, based on experience and certification level •Guarantee•during ramp-up so you're not gambling on your first 60 days Consistent hour volume — our shop is loaded, not seasonal Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Paid factory training and certification — we invest in techs who want to level up Tool purchase program and uniforms provided Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service Climate-controlled shop with modern equipment and current factory tooling Five-day schedule — we don't burn people out ## Why Longmont You're 20 minutes from Boulder, an hour from the Front Range trail heads, and outside the worst of the Denver commute.
