We need a self-motivated, experienced, detail-oriented, mechanic to maintain our fleet of delivery trucks. Pay will be commensurate with proven experience. Benefits offered after 60 days include health, dental, and vision insurance; paid sick time upon start date and paid vacation time upon 90 days employment; and a 401(k) plan with eligibility after six months of employment. Typical hours Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the possibility of some overtime.

Responsibilities:
Maintain a comprehensive maintenance program for all company trucks. Complete work orders and maintenance log on all work performed on company vehicles. Maintain records and performs regular inspections of fleet vehicles to insure proper operation and appearance of vehicles. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on company vehicles. Completes all minor repairs at company level including, but not limited to: Oil changes Filter changes Routine vehicle inspections Inspect and replace brakes Replace plugs and wires Lube vehicle including, but not limited to, wheel bearings, steering linkage, caliper slide rails, ball joints, spindle needle, and hub lock Tire inflation, condition, rotation, and replacement Test drive vehicles Perform other preventive maintenance as needed Coordinate major repairs, such as engine replacements, transmission replacements, major body repairs, etc., with outside vendors Oversee the appearance of the home delivery fleet by completing or coordinating both washes and repairs Coordinate with Fleet Manager on status of company vehicles Organize and maintain a clean and neat appearance to shop Perform other related tasks as neededJob Requirements:
Must own basic tools required for performing duties. Possess a valid Colorado Driver's License. Provide a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) with four points or less in the last three years and no suspensions in the last five years. Agree to employee screenings including Criminal Background Checks, Drug Screenings, and MVR checks. Previous vehicle maintenance or similar mechanical experience is preferred. Ability to regularly stand, use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Occasional walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, talking, hearing, and smelling. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training in fleet repair and service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates and Licenses:
