In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to work with cutting-edge automotive technology and deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and tire rotations. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on GM vehicles and other makes. Repair or replace components related to automotive electrical systems, transmissions, engines, and other critical parts. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while providing excellent customer service through clear communication about repair needs. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics equipment. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, powertrain repairs, and diesel engine repair. Mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and maintenance procedures. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics accurately for efficient troubleshooting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Valid certification or licensing in automotive repair; ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is advantageous.
