In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, restoring, and maintaining vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and appearance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of auto body repairs, including collision damage, auto restoration projects, and custom finishes. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools and power tools. Thoroughly examine the vehicle damages. Return the vehicle back to factory specifications. Remove vehicle trim to gain access to the vehicle body. Remove damaged parts using power tools. Properly fill depressions with body filler and insure a quality repair. Straighten bent automobile frames. Grind and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools. Aim headlights. Replace bolts on panels and align properly. Make cosmetic repairs and perform other duties as assigned by management Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment. Handle heavy lifting safely while working on vehicle frames or large panels. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body equipment. Experience with auto restoration projects or custom auto painting is a plus. Knowledge of auto painting including airless paint spraying, and auto body detailing.
