In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Whether you're working on diesel engines or performing wheel alignments, your skills will help keep our service department running at peak performance. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, and other key components. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Repair and service diesel engines, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Execute wheel alignments, ADAS calibrations, and vehicle maintenance tasks to optimize vehicle performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs with precision. Maintain detailed records of all service work performed and communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed or completed. Skills Proven dealership or automotive service experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Knowledge of ADAS technology, schematics reading, and electronic troubleshooting techniques. Skilled in diesel engine repair and auto body repair techniques as needed. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with vehicle maintenance routines is essential. Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients while explaining repairs clearly.
