Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic A & B Technician specializing in automotive repair to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems with a focus on both A and B level repairs, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, supporting the longevity and reliability of their vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics passionate about automotive technology and eager to work with diverse vehicle models, including light passenger cars and heavy-duty engines. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across engine systems, electrical wiring, and vehicle electronics. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, powertrain components, and other engine systems utilizing schematics and automotive wiring diagrams. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, alignment adjustments, and vehicle system checks to ensure safety and efficiency. Repair and replace mechanical components including engine parts, transmission systems, suspension, steering mechanisms, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques to perform mechanical repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical schematics and automotive wiring diagrams for accurate troubleshooting and repair procedures. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of vehicle parts during repair or maintenance processes. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive diagnostics, and electrical systems interpretation. Solid mechanical knowledge of engine technology, powertrain components, and vehicle systems across various makes including GM vehicles. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and understanding schematics for precise troubleshooting. Experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, wheel alignment, and general vehicle maintenance. Ability to read automotive wiring diagrams accurately and interpret technical manuals effectively. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle care and maintenance. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, manual handling safety protocols, and the use of hand tools and power tools in repair tasks. Join us if you're passionate about automotive technology!
