Whether working on complex powertrain systems, electrical wiring, or suspension components, your hands-on skills will keep our customers' vehicles in top condition. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems including electrical, transmission, suspension, and powertrain. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, transmission system repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision. Repair or replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, and steering systems while adhering to safety standards. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and general inspections to ensure optimal performance. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Knowledge of automotive systems including electrical wiring diagrams, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), diesel engines, and vehicle transmission systems. Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, welding equipment, and diagnostic scanners. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle suspension systems, powertrains, transmissions, and electrical systems required for comprehensive repairs. Ability to interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent technical training; ASE certification is a plus.
