Main Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections to verify assembly, safety features, and operational readiness of vehicles Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, electrical, brakes, and suspension, using diagnostic software and testing equipment Complete mechanical repairs, maintenance, assembly, and adjustments to meet quality standards Utilize hand and power tools efficiently, adhering to safety protocols Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, parts usage, and test results Road test vehicles to verify repairs Coordinate with parts and service teams to ensure timely completion of work Follow dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and quality standards Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized Dispose of and return parts according to protocol Participate in ongoing training and stay current with technical bulletins and procedures Skills and Qualifications Minimum two years of experience in automotive repair or service; dealership experience preferred Proficient in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and use of diagnostic tools and software Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately Excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to quality, safety, and ethical standards Team player with a positive, professional attitude High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license required Must own required tools to perform repairs Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 6-8 hours per shift Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, and climbing as needed Lift up to 50 lbs Move vehicles within the dealership Join our team as a PDI Service Technician and apply your skills in a supportive environment where quality and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
