This is high-volume, steady, year-round work focused on gas-powered vans, buses, and light/medium-duty vehicles. You'll operate in a mobile service environment with fully equipped trucks. No diesel work. No slow days. Consistent hours every week. What You'll Do Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMs) on gas fleet vehicles Diagnose and repair: Check engine lights (OBD diagnostics) Electrical and wiring issues Brake systems (pads, rotors, calipers) Suspension components A/C systems (diagnostics, vacuum, recharge, leak checks) Perform engine performance and drivability diagnostics Use diagnostic tools (scan tools, Jaltest, etc.) Perform on-site/mobile repairs at fleet locations Complete DVI inspections, work orders, and repair reports Maintain clean, safe work areas Communicate with dispatch and supervisors Work Environment Mobile fleet service (not a shop) Work at government fleet yards and job sites Fast-paced, high-volume workload (multiple units per shift) Fully equipped company service trucks provided Requirements ASE Certification (Required) 3+ years experience with gasoline vehicles Strong diagnostic ability (engine, electrical, drivability) Fleet, van, or truck experience preferred Ability to work independently Must be reliable and punctual (early start required) Valid driver's license Own basic hand tools Why Join Repair Today Gas engines only - no diesel work Consistent government contract work (no slow seasons) Overtime available regularly Early shifts = your afternoons free Growth into Lead Tech / Supervisor roles Work on fleet volume instead of retail customers Benefits Competitive hourly pay + overtime Health, dental, vision insurance Paid training (ASE support, diagnostics) Long-term stability with a growing company If you're an ASE-certified gas technician looking for steady hours, strong pay, and consistent work, apply today and start immediately.
