Job Description

Automotive Quick Lube Technician - Quick Lube Mechanic Nucar Chevrolet, a dealership in the Wilmington Delaware area, has an immediate opening for Quick Lube Technicians for our service departments due to the advancement of our current Quick Lube Techs. If you are looking to start your automotive career that has potential for growth, come and apply today! The Quick Lube Technician services vehicles assigned by management following all established standards and procedures to include rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids. We strive to deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Some automotive training and /or experience with automotive repair is a plus. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, and great communication skills. •Competitive pay of $38,000 to $45,000 per year.•Opportunities to advance your career with training provided by Nucar. Job Description Performs routine service inspections and tests and completes standard maintenance requirements per manufacturer specifications Check all fluids and maintenance-related items and top off fluids as needed Ensure that the required documentation is completed and is compliant with regulations and standards Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles Neat, clean and professional appearance Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Highly professional and dependable Safety and computer service oriented Basic computer and internet skills
