Roadside Assistance Technician

Summary:

Provides prompt and reliable roadside assistance to stranded motorists, delivering high-quality customer service while performing non-mechanical light-duty services.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to dispatched service calls in a timely and professional manner. Perform vehicle lockouts, safely gaining entry without causing damage. Conduct tire changes, including installation of spare tires and assessing basic tire safety. Provide fuel delivery services to customers who have run out of fuel, ensuring safe handling and transfer. Perform jumpstarts, using proper procedures to avoid electrical damage and ensure customer safety. Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding estimated arrival times and service details. Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, working condition. Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company procedures while on duty. Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company in a positive, professional manner.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and maneuver equipment (e.g., jacks, tires, fuel cans). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Customer-service oriented with strong communication skills. Experience in roadside assistance or automotive services is a plus (but not always required).

Work Environment:
